Beagle Paws exists because of a community that cares deeply about giving beagles a second chance. That support comes from coast to coast across Canada and even beyond.
It shows up in many ways through fostering, volunteering, donating, adopting, and simply following along. Membership is another way to take part, helping ensure Beagle Paws remains strong and steady behind the scenes.
WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP MEAN?
Becoming a member is a simple annual commitment of $25.
Members are invited to our Annual General Meeting, where we share year-end updates, review finances, and elect board members. Members are eligible to vote on the election of board members and on any formal matters brought forward during the meeting.
Members will receive notice of the Annual General Meeting by email.
Membership is separate from donating or volunteering. It is simply another way to stand behind the long-term future of Beagle Paws.

Why does Beagle Paws have a membership now?
Beagle Paws has always had a board of directors. As the rescue grows, we are formalizing some of our processes to help ensure the organization remains strong and sustainable into the future. Introducing membership is part of that effort.
Is membership the same as donating?
No. Membership is separate from donations and volunteering. Donations directly support the care of dogs. Membership helps support the organization itself and its long-term stability.
How much does it cost?
Membership is $25 per year and lasts 12 months from the date you join.
What does it mean to be a member in good standing?
To remain in good standing, your membership must be current and renewed annually.
What do members vote on?
At the Annual General Meeting, members vote to elect board members and may vote on other formal matters requiring membership approval.
