ADOPTED May 26, 2007 Duke and his proud new Mom and Dad (below)		Good News ! Handsome Duke has made a home for himself with a very loving family in British Columbia.

ADOPTED May 21, 2007		Good News ! Shadow who is now named "Maddie" is all settled in her new home in British Columbia where she is very happy.
ADOPTED May 18, 2007 Daisy in her new home (Below)		Good News ! Daisy #2 has made her big trip to British Clumbia to meet her new family. Daisy's new family writes: Hi There, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have fallen in love with Daisy! She is an awesome dog and so sweet and cuddly! She is getting along great with our dog Buddy and seems to have settled in rather quickly. She is so much fun and we are learning more and more about her as each hour passes. I just wanted to thank you for all of the great work that you do and we are so happy with the new edition to our family.  We will keep in touch!
ADOPTED May 18, 2007		Good News ! Darcy has settled right into his new home in Alberta.  We are all so happy for him.
ADOPTED May 17, 2007		Good News ! Daisy has found a loving family to call her own in Newfoundland.
ADOPTED May 16, 2007		Good News ! Scooby has been adopted by a great home in Ontario, his new family are anxiously awaiting his arrival.

ADOPTED May 16, 2007 Carter (now named Cooper) arrives to meet his new family in British Columbia		Good News ! Carter has been adopted by a very loving family in British Clumbia who just can't wait to meet him.
ADOPTED May 16, 2007 Hope (now named Chloe) with her new best freind  in photo below		Good News ! Hope has her bags packed for her trip to British Clumbia to meet her new family. Hope's new family writes: Chloe is responding to her name now and actually has for several days.  She is fitting right in and even though we've only had her for 2 weeks, she has settled right in.  She does a lot of things that remind us of a puppy.  We've sure had a good laugh at some things.  We'll catch her hauling a pillow out the back door, and she does it well too!  We've also had fun trying to find a matching pair of slippers.  She's so cute and sweet and very affectionate.  She likes to please us and she's very smart as she's already learned a few commands.  She's obviously been a rabbit hunter.  Where we take them for walks there are lots of rabbits around and she would dearly love to practice her skills.  Mia didn't care if rabbits ran across the trail in front of her but I'm sure Chloe wouldn't stop until sometime tomorrow.  I'm hoping that she gets used to the smell of rabbits without hunting them but we won't be taking any chances.  She loves to play fetch and I'm sure she could do that for hours too.  She's keeping Brandi busy which is great as Brandi sure could afford to lose a few pounds.  I think she's feeling quite comfortable as she doesn't hesitate to jump up on the couch and snuggle up.  Thank you for letting us adopt her.
ADOPTED May 16, 2007 Roxy in her new home (below)		Good News ! Little Roxy girl is getting ready to make her big journey from Alberta to British Columbia to her new home. Roxy's new family writes: Greetings from British Columbia.    What a wonderful organization, thank-you for all the work you do. A special thank-you to April in Calgary. Roxy Girl arrived  safe and sound  and is  a beautiful, sweet little girl, who seems to have adjusted to her new home   almost immediately.  She  instantly captured our hearts. We are looking forward to  lots of years  of caring for and loving her.  Thank-you for the opportunity to adopt her.
ADOPTED May 16, 2007		Good News ! Jordan (now named "Gracie") has been adopted by a loving family in British Columbia.
ADOPTED May 15, 2007		Good News ! Benji's temporary home has now become his forever home.  We are all so happy that Benji has a very loving and super dog freindly home to look after him.
ADOPTED May 12, 2007 Erik in his new home (below)		Good News ! Erik is getting settled away in his new forever home in British Columbia. Erik's new family writes: Hi, Though I'd give you an update on "Erik". First, we decided to change his name to "Mick" because  our neighbour has a little boy named Erik and we thought it was just a bit confusing to have everyone hollaring "Erik" out their back doors !! We chose Mick because it sounded kind of like Erik. He has bonded really well with our family. The kids adore him and he is so gentle and affectionate with them. He is terrified of men so I am trying to help him with that. We started puppy classes with him last Sunday and that went amazingly well. I could not get him to sit or lay down no matter how hard I tried ... one class with this amazing woman and he can now sit, lay down and lay down from a stand. That was our first day. I'm looking forward to the next class. My homework is to get him to stop pulling on the leash. We have a ways to go on that one but he is such a smart little guy and he improves with every walk. We are having so much fun with him, it's hard to believe we've only had him for 10 days. I have attached a few pictures for you. Thanks again for trusting us to give him a good home.
