Good News! Cody has
been adopted by a great family in Alberta. They are anxiously awaiting his
arrival.
Cody's new
family writes:
What a delightful little dog!!! He arrived
safe and sound in Calgary. He appeared to settle down on the ride home
and is non the worse for the trip. Amy is super happy about her
"beagle dog". He also seems to enjoy the girls. When we
finally got him home from Karen's mom's house the girls were already in bed.
He made one quick lap around the inside of the house with his nose to the
floor and then went up the stairs to the girl's rooms at top speed. He
sat outside the door and waited for somebody to open the door for him.
He is very careful of the girls and so far his big thing with them is to give
them kisses. This delights Amy no end but Jenna is not so sure she likes
it yet. I'm sure that he will be an excellent addition to our family and
he already seems to have imprinted on Karen. He travels well, and seems
to like riding in the front of my pick-up, as we went for a little ride just
to see. His total demeanor is exactly what we hoped for, so congratulations
on another successful adoption!! Thank-you very, very much.

Odie in his new home (below)
|
Good News! Odie has
been adopted by a great family in British Columbia. They are anxiously
awaiting his arrival.
Odie's new
family writes:
Odie made it safe and sound. Today went well. We took lots of pictures
and spent plenty of time outdoors. He had another accident in the house so
we're going to have to work on that with him. We walked and he worked on learning how to
"heel"
very well.
We are exhausted and hoping that he will sleep soundly through the night. He is zonked right now and can barely lift his head (of course it's 1:30am
where he's from!).
He is very loving and really wants to make us
happy. He is so cute and we already love him so much. He really seems to be
bonding with us well and his tail is wagging often.
Thanks for all your help.

Good News! Grady has
been adopted to a very loving family. They can't wait to welcome him to
his new home.
Grady's new family writes:
On June 10, 2004, our lives changed dramatically, for the better of
course...we adopted Grady! He has been a handful every since we had to lure him
out of his kennel after his frightening flight to St. Anthony. He keeps us very
busy with his never ending energy and constant need for play but we wouldn't
change a thing. His constant tail wag, especially when we walk through the
door, and excitement for the leash when it is time for a walk makes it all
worth it. We can't help but wonder what kind of life he had before us, but
seeing his comfort and hearing his sigh of contentment as he settles on his
pillow, we know he is happy in his forever home. We still have a lot of
training to do, which is all a part of the challenge of being a pet owner, but
it just make our daily lives more interesting. Grady has finally reached his
forever home and we can't wait to see the fun, challenges and adventures that
lie ahead. (Newfoundland)

Good News! Smokey has
been adopted to a very loving home in British Columbia. His new family are
anxiously awaiting his arrival.
Smokey's
new family writes:
Well, after a not so long wait, Smokey is home! He has been home for only one day, yet he is deeply entrenched into our family already! He has taken us all for a walk 4 times since he arrived and does not seem to tire of the idea of exploring the neighborhood.
Right now, as has already happened many times since his arrival, Smokey is laying on the floor getting a belly rub from his new girl Tanza and quite in his glory. He will certainly not be lacking for love now, and I am sure that he is very thankful, as we are, for the love and care that has already brought him this far.
Thanks so much Beagle Paws for your great care in helping us to choose the right dog for our family. We love him and have been so impressed by his demeanor and obedience.
Brenda, Rick, Tanza, James
and of course, our new addition....Smokey!
