Good News ! Our little tiny "Minnie" has
been adopted by one of our valued volunteers in Alberta.
Minnie's new family writes:
Minnie Mouse
is the cutest little thing ever. As soon as we picked her up at the airport
I knew that I couldn’t let her go. She was so skinny and so timid I didn’t
want her to go anywhere except home with us. Time and a whole lot of love
has changed Minnie a great deal, but we still have a ways to go yet. She may
be tiny, but she can hold her own while playing with our 3 other dogs, 2 of
which are Beagles! I would recommend fostering to anyone who loves dogs and
has a lot of love to give, you really do make a difference in the dogs life,
and they make a bigger difference in yours!
Thanks! |

Daisy (now named Lucy) in her new home below
 |
Good News ! Daisy now named "Lucy" has
been adopted to a loving family in Alberta.
Daisy's new family writes:
Daisy, now named Lucy, official adoption
date was July 22nd. She is a lovely girl and has taught us so
much, e.g., she loves her bones and rawhides, fetching balls, long walks and
lots of pets and hugs. She howls when I sing and play my conga drums. She
howls out the bedroom window when the two beagles down the end of our street
bark and there are a lot of Lucy fans in our neighbourhood. She has already
several dog friends that we see on our daily walks – Simon a sweet Bichon and
Chauncey a friendly wired-hair fox terrier. Plus, she visits a home with
three beagles that poop her out after an afternoon in their backyard. We
fell in love with Lucy at first sight and fortunately within a few days she
was very much a part of our household routine. She’s very smart. |

Good News ! Jackson has been adopted to a
loving home in Newfoundland.
Jackson's new family writes:
I just wanted to let you know Jackson and I
had a "wonderful" time yesterday at the Reunion. It was quite fun and it was
really nice talking to other Beagle owners. Jackson and I are doing
"fantastic".... he is such a good dog and it feels like I have had him
forever. I couldn't imagine life without him now. He is playing with stuffed
toys and his tail doesn't stop wagging! |

Good News ! Rex has found his forever home
in Alberta, we are all so happy for our loveable boy.
Rex's new family writes:
Dear folks at beagle paws. This is Thor Wisman
Rex's new friend just dropping a line to tell you all about this adorable
trip out west.
His flight was long and boring and unfortunately his first week with us was
marred with a small illness that kept him from his full potential. After a
few days with the vet medication and some bland food he was back to his over
happy and super friendly ways. He gets to play with our little pack of dogs
at the pet store I work at. He is a bundle of fur, slobber, and love. After
our first attempt at walking in the rain when I had to use food to get him
out the front door. His paws on the door jamb and the look of disgust at this
travesty called rain. Our first vet visit for his shots and the discovery of
his other hound heritage. Being half Basset hound and it clicked, his love of
sniffing and sleeping made more sense. The beagle half keeping him going for
as long as I am willing to walk he is willing to inhale
and smell he can find. His constant search for food and a snack. Every time
we go for a walk someone has to stop and play with him, along with the "he
is sooooo cute " or " Isn't that the most adorable dog I've ever seen". Today
we will be starting obedience training but even without we have already
added two commands to his repertoire within a few days. It only took his two
favorite things in the world, Me and food.....
So Thank you Beagle Paws for giving me the chance to bond with and love a
super friendly Besset (in the honor of mixing names) Rexington Steele Wisman
is home for good. |

Good News ! Fudge, now named "Row" has
found a great family to call her own in Newfoundland, this same family also
adopted our little pup "Taylor" (photo below)
Row and Taylor's family writes:
Dear Beagle Paws,
We would like to thank you for our beautiful baby girls, they have made our
lives complete. Once you become the proud owner of a Beagle or two you
realize they are such perfect loving creatures.
Row wants to let you know she just loves going for runs with Daddy, and
sometime running away from Daddy (Hehehe!) and Taylor says her and Mommy have
taken to dancing lessons and she is especially excited to tell you that she
is so good at dancing now she gets lots of treats. Ruffffff! Row also wants
to tell you all now that her sissy Taylor is a bigger girl she not so much of
a pest she only chews on her ears sometimes....but Row says she loves her
sister anyway.
We feel the addition of the girls to our house has finally made it a home.
Thank You
Dana and Jerome Sheaves |

Good News ! Rosie has found a great home
to call her own in Newfoundland.
Rosie's new family writes:
Just dropping a note to say that Rosie is now
'Tessa Rosie White' b/c it is too hard to say Zoey and Rosie, they both come
running so Tessa it is. Her first night was fine, we all curled up in bed the
4 of us, and we only woke up once! She seems happy and is getting along with
Zoey no problem. We just got back from our first walk and they both loved it!
I've attached a few pics. Thanks for everything!
