Cassidy celebrates her Birthday On Sept. 13th, Cassidy hosted her 7th birthday party where she invited 10 friends to come celebrate her birthday.  Rather than bringing presents for her, Cassidy requested that her friends bring donations for Beagle Paws! The donations the girls brought for Beagle Paws - food, leashes, collars, toys, treats, and Canadian Tire money, dog tags!  It was fantastic.  We thank Cassidy and here friends for thinking of the beagles on her special day. 1000th Beagle Paws Adoption Jacob (now named "Jake") marks a milestone for Beagle Paws.  This little boy is our 1000th beagle adoption.  That is 1000 famlies that we have helped to open their hearts and homes to love of a dog.  None of this would be possible if it wasn't for the hard work of our dedicated volunteers.  THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us reach this point. Jake is now living very happily with his new family in Newfoundland.  Watch for Jake in our 2010 Beagle Paws Calendar. A note from "Squishy's" new Mom "There are angels among us. Mine comes in the form of a senior beagle named "Squishy". She has gone through a lot in her lifetime but she has the biggest & kindest heart. She is like my shadow and brings us so much joy.  Remember, beagles rarely complain.  They will give you their last breath. Repay them with kindness & love.  Everyone should be lucky enough to have the love from at least one beagle in their lifetime.
