Suzie is a sweet little dog who is excellent around children and other dogs. She is extremely well crate trained and willingly spends any time needed in it without so much as a peep. She is a very expressive dog when she’s happy and will “talk” on occasion with quiet little baying noises in your direction. True to her breed, she is very food oriented and will seek it out if given the chance. She is trained to use a doggie door. If it is closed she will ask to go outside by scratching at the door. She will need to go to a home with another dog as she has spent her life in the company of other dogs. Suzie is an absolutely beautiful beagle with very loving eyes and a personality to match. Maggie is very affectionate, and loves nothing more than to sleep at your feet. She loves her walks and also loves to run. She would love a human to run with, or a large yard and some friendly dogs to play with. Maggie has some separation anxiety so she should go to a home where she will not be left alone for long periods of time and where there is another dog to keep her company. She is sensitive to rumbling noises, and is especially fearful of the garbage truck, but with time she will hopefully overcome this. Pepsi is a very sweet girl who has had a rough start. She loves women and is learning to trust men. She is very affectionate and eager to please, which makes her unusually easy to train for a beagle. Being such a smart girl, she knows how to sit, lie down, go anywhere you tell her to. As she loves being close to her people, she has better recall than most beagles and loves to play fetch. “We would like to introduce you to one-eyed Luke, or Lukie as his friends call him. Luke is sweet as pie, loves to be with his people, loves his walks and car rides, comes when called, is eager to please, comfortable in his crate, likes squeaky toys, shakes both paws, is happy to snuggle with people or other dogs (but he doesn’t like to share his food with other dogs!) and is good with cats and often snuggles with them too. Luke also happens to be diabetic and needs daily injections. However, being the sweetie-pie that he is, he is also great for his needles.
