Page of Shame

UPDATE:
The City of St. John's has approved revised Animal Control regulations click here

While we are pleased with this step in the right direction, with the biggest step for Beagles being the prohibiting of above ground raised pens, we feel that there is still room for improvment on these by-laws.

- Back yard breeding needs to be addressed
- Chaining of dogs for extended periods also needs to be addressed

YOU
can make a difference, email one of the below politicians and let them know that you think that it is UNACCEPTABLE for Beagles to continue to live in these conditions in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

City of St. John's, (acting Mayor) Shannie Duff sduff@stjohns.ca
City of Mount Pearl, Mayor Randy Simms rsimms@mountpearl.ca

Province of Newfoundland, Minister Kathy Dunderdale kathydunderdale@gov.nl.ca
