Hi! My name is Pearcy but all my friends call me Mr.P. I’ve been told I’m not all beagle but that I’m incredibly handsome just the same. I am a really easy-going guy. I enjoy being in my kennel, I walk really well on a leash, I get along with both dogs AND cats, I’m quiet and to top it all off, I’m completely housetrained. What more could you ask for?
My favorite things are my daily walks, dog treats, hanging out with my foster family and playing with my foster sister and all her toys! I like to carry her toys around the house and leave them in places where she can’t find them. I also enjoy getting my ears cleaned by my kitten friend while napping on the sofa in the evenings.
If you are looking for a sweet, gentle companion then please give Beagle Paws a call and let them know you’d like to meet me. I certainly can’t wait to meet you!

Is this how any dog should live ?

Many of our supporters have adotped rescued beagles from conditions like this. And they can all testify to what great family pets they are.
Sadly there are still many beagles that continue to live in these conditions in Newfoundland. This photo was taken recently in the St. John’s metro area of our province. The new provincial animal control regulations have still not been passed – time may not be an issue with the governing authorities but in the lives of these innocent animals every day matters.
