Beagle Paws has two adorable female beagles that need your HELP.
UPDATE – NOV. 17: Both girls have made a full recovery and are doing great. Pippa will be packing her bags this weekend for her big trip to British Columbia where she has a great family waiting to meet her.
UPDATE – OCT. 27: Pippa is doing great, she is getting out for short walks now and is starting to use her leg more. You can see video’s of both Pippa and Penny on the Beagle Paws Facebook group page CLICK HERE.
UPDATE – OCT. 25: Penny had her leg amputation surgery yesterday and is in recovery right now, we are hoping it won’t take her long to adjust to her new lifestyle.
“Pippa”
Is a tan and black, super sweet 6 month old beagle mix dog. She was rescued this past weekend after being hit by a car. Emergency surgery was performed to save her leg, she now has pins in her leg and has started her healing process. Pippa’s vet bill is going to be close to $3,000.
“Penny”
is a another sweetie of a beagle. She came to us from a local municipality where she was brought in by her owner due to her lame leg. It has been determined that her leg has been an issue for years and now at 6 years of age the best thing we can do for her its to amputate the leg. This surgery is scheduled for Mon. Oct. 24th.
We are very grateful for the care that has been provided by the Sunrise vet clinic in Mt. Pearl, NL and for the breaks they have given us on the vet bills.
However, this is still a large amount of money for us to come up with to help Penny and Pippa. So, we are asking you to help by making a donation.
